Days 18 - 22 and next weeks homework

In math, we are using dominoes to learn how to count.  We first drew our domino and then counted the dots.  Not bad for our first try!
We are still working on how to write our numbers and counting in order (left to right/ top to bottom).

This weeks letter was the letter S. We made our own snake in the shape of an "s".
After some sticky fingers, our masterpieces were complete.
We also spoke about bullying and how we should leave "heartprints" everywhere we go. Heartprints are good deeds we do that leave a special place in a persons heart. This entire month we will continue on talking about bully preventions.  At the end of the month, I will display our "friendship tree".

On October 4th, with the sonsorship of We Give Books, the entire nation read "Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad".

This book was all about using your imagination and facing your problems instead of running away from them.
The children really enjoyed this story.
Next week, we will discuss more about Christopher Columbus and lots more!
