What an amazing fun filled week! We started and ended with bats. We learned bats are mammals (that means the babies stay in their mommy's belly and mommy's give their babies milk) and they are nocturnal (they do all their flying at night). Some bats eat fruit, bugs, and even drink blood!

We even learned how to make patterns using pattern block templates and 3D shapes. Many students chose to make very complex patterns! It made me so happy to see that the children were challenging themselves!
On Thursday we had a great treat from Liberty Science Center! They introduced atoms, electricity, and even how a cloud is formed. Our class was lucky enough to be 2 of the volunteers that were able to go on stage!
